Toyota and Honda both unveiled new concept cars for the compact segment at the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi, India. And while Toyota’s car is an ugly piece of junk, Honda has come up with a nice and trendy vehicle called simply the the New Small Concept! A production model based on this prototype will go on sale in 2011.

The Small Concept is a 5-seater hatchback which is set to be a very efficient city car. But considering the markets it’ll be launched into, India and Thailand, it is not likely that Honda gives it a hybrid powertrain because that would cost more. If they ever wanted to sell it in Europe, then it might come as a hybrid. Honda has not provided any technical data on the production model yet
