At this year’s Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, General Motors will put a very special Corvette Z06 up for auction, and the proceeds will be donated for Haiti earthquake relief. The proceeds, which will be donated to the American Red Cross relief fund, are in addition to a $100,000 contribution from the GM Foundation to the Red Cross.

The car is a limited editoin 2008 Corvette Z06 which is the last model of a series of 427 units and is the only model with Crystal Red Metallic Tint Coat. This Vette also features a black Stinger-Style stripe running through the length of the car, chrome wheels in Spider design and chrome badges as well as body-colored parts. The interior too comes with a Crystal Red trim and dark grey leather. As for the power, the car is equipped with the same 7.0 liter 505 hp as in the regular Z06.
