The new upgraded Mazda6 is now available in the United Kingdom as well for a starting price of just £16,995. The Mazda6 has always been one of the best affordable mid-size sedans and the new one which comes with refreshed styling, better convenience and new features, is really up to the job to continue the success of its predecessors.
The 2010 Mazda6 is available with four trim levels in the UK including S, TS, TS2 and Sport. All models in the range are now available as standard with ‘smart’ turn indicators and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), while the better-equipped trims also get new aerodynamic rear spoiler, front and rear parking sensors, Hill Hold Assist and active Bi-Xenon AFS front lights.
As for the engines, you can this car with three petrol and three turbo diesel powerplants with 5 or 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. The petrol models include the 120ps MZR 1.8-litre, the new MZR DISI 155ps 2.0-litre and the 170ps MZR 2.5-litre. While the power for the diesel range varies form 129ps, to 163ps and 180ps all coming from a MZR-CD 2.2-litre turbo-charged unit. All models are cleaner and more efficient by almost 5 percent.
