The new coupe cabriolet version of the Renault Megane will hit the showroom floors in the UK from July 9 to complete the range Megane in the British market. Available in two trim levels, Dynamique TomTom and GT, this stylish drop-top which features an electric panoramic folding glass roof, starts form £21,595 and you can have it with six engine and transmission combinations.
The range of powertrains includes 1.5 dCi 110, 1.4 TCe (Turbo Control efficiency), 2.0 CVT 140, and 1.9 dCi 130. There two other engines, the TCe 180 petrol engine and the high-torque, two-litre dCi 160 diesel, which are exclusive for the GT range.
Standard equipments with the Dynamique TomTom versions includes 17” alloys, 4x15W radio CD with Bluetooth and AUX input, air conditioning, automatic headlights and wipers, panoramic glass folding roof, cruise control, fixed glass wind deflector, hands free keycard, speed limiter and fully integrated Carminat TomTom satellite navigation.
The GT trim levels also offers specific 17” alloy wheels, electric folding door mirrors, rear parking sensors, and front and rear sport bumpers. The interior also benefits from the same enhancements as the GT models, with GT Line badging.
The GT range also differs from the TomTom models thanks to a couple of exterior and interior features. They come with bespoke sport front bumper with revised central air intake and gloss black detailing, and rear bumper with aerodynamic diffuser, a dark chrome surround for the windscreen frame and waistline, with matching door mirrors, door handles and front fog lights, plus 18” alloy wheels and headlights with black surrounds.
Inside the cabin the GT gets sports seats, aluminium-faced pedals, an analogue rev-counter and polished carbon interior door pull handles, outer air-vents and dashboard trim including GT badging. GT versions also boast rear parking sensors and electric folding door mirrors.
