As part of ‘Vive Le Summer’ promotion program in UK market, Renault has launched a new trim level for the Megane 5-door Hatchback called ‘Generation’, which starting from £10,995 it is £3,000 less than the car’s MSRP. It replaces the Extreme trim level and is available to order with either 1.6 100 petrol or 1.5 dCi 90 FAP diesel and five-speed gearbox.

Renault Megane Generation might be a cut-price version but it’s still feature-rich with standard equipments such as 4x15W radio CD with fingertip remote controls and aux input, air conditioning, cruise control, electric door mirrors and front windows, ESC, hands free keycard and speed limiter.

But if you look carefully you can notice how they have saved money in the car’s appearence. Plastic door handles and mirror casings are some of the evidences!
