Dacia, the Romanian branch of Renault, announced today addition of two new powertrains to the range for their SUV Dacia Duster. They include a 1.6 16V 105 E85 engine which can be fed with either petrol or bioethanol, and a dCi 90 DPF1 diesel engine. Both units comply with Euro 5 emission standards.
The E85 engine which has CO2 emissions of just 96g/km is also used in Logan MCV and Sandero.. The diesel engine which is equipped with a self-regenerating particulate filter consumes 5.0 liters of fuel per 100 Km while emitting 130g of CO2/km. Both models also benefits from numerous tax advantages in Europe.
