Honda released an updated version of the Insight Hybrid car in response to customer feedback. The car now gets a revised suspension with enhanced comfort, improved interior trims and a new EX model with added equipments such as black leather upholstery and DVD Sat Nav and hands-free telephone.

The main concern with the early models was indeed the suspension, as customers were complaining about its ride quality and comfort. So Honda made a number changes to the chassis, including: adjusting the recoil rate of the springs, changing the rear camber angles, altering the V-shape rear suspension brace and adjusting mounts. The amendments promise to deliver improved ride, handling and stability.

Furthermore, they have made some styling tweaks inside the cabin. Dashboard and seat colours have been changed, quality of plastic parts is improved, and chrome rings surround air vents, and the doors have been given a silver garnish feature. The ES models have also been fitted with a rear parking sensor. There are also two new paint options for Insight customers, with the introduction of Dynamic Blue Pearl and Carnelian Red Pearl.
