Going with the new year’s vibe, the Dutch sportscar maker Donkervoort – think of them as the Caterham of Netherlands – teased their new D8 GTO model on Christmas cards. This new D8 is a race-bred sportscar, like other Donkervoorts, and is said to be powered by Audi TTS’ 270 hp-350 Nm 2.0 liter TFSI engine.

The D8 GTO’s chassis and suspension has been tested and adjusted extensively at 24-hour race of Dubai to make sure the car handles properly. Although the picture is not clear, at all, but the GTO seems to look naughtier than its siblings. What we don’t like about Donkervoort is that name, it’s unfathomable!

The first prototypes are expected to be unveiled at 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
