If you were disappointed by Acura’s previous upgrades for the TL sedan, wait a bit longer to a see a new refined version at the Chicago Auto Show on February 9, 2011. Currently no official details are available on the 2012 Acura TL, but based on the spyshots of the car we’ve seen it won’t have the same hideous grille!

The technicalities will probably remain the same, maybe tweaked a bit. That means you still get the same lineup of TL and TL SH-AWD with 3.5-liter or a 3.7 liter SOHC with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Acura hopes the 2012 refinements do wonder for the TL’s plummting sales.

2011 Acura recently received the 2011 ALG Residual Value Award for Best Near Luxury Car, further enhances its position in the segment with aggressive, yet refined styling and performance. That’s what Acura says in the PR, but the market thinks the other way!
