Chevrolet has conformed debut of the new Cruze Hatchback for European market at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Here’s new shots of the final production version of the car showing you the car’s rear-end.

the hatchback version of the WTCC and BTCC champion Chevy Cruze is ought to gain a bigger market share for the small American car which is already enjoying a huge success in sales. It’ll go on sale in Europe and UK form summer 2011 featuring the same range of engines as the sedan plus the new 163 PS diesel unit introduced with the Chevy Orlando and standard six-speed manual gearbox.

Desginwise, the Cruze hatchback is identical to the sedan at front, but the at the back it is obviously different. The thing is, it lacks any sort of beauty or coolness there and looks way too ordinary.

“The Cruze Hatchback will give us a huge opportunity in the UK,” said Chevrolet Managing Director, Mark Terry. “This year alone, we’ve got four major new model launches that will have a significant positive impact on our product line-up in the UK, as well as the Camaro to cast a halo over the rest of our range.

Alongside Orlando, the New Captiva and New Aveo, the Cruze hatch delivers greater choice and versatility to our customers, and as well as offering the same great value and quality finish that our retail customers are used to, it will give us a far greater presence in the hotly contested fleet market.”
