Chevrolet “accidentally” leaks the first fully uncovered picture of the 2013 Malibu on the web ahead of the car’s official debut next week. And it looks really good!
Turns out the teaser images were not deceptive and the new Malibu does actually look cool and contemporary. This neat and clean face, plus the Camaro-inspired rear-end result in a handsome mid-size sedan. That said, if you look deeper you may notice some similarities with the previous models. That’s not a necessarily bad thing. Yes the old Malibus were rubbish, but the fact that it’s remained loyal to the original form while addressing its issues give the car character and personality.
Besides the picture of the car, Chevy also released a teaser shot of the Malibu’s MyLink infotainment system announcing the car’s high-tech online HD unveiling ceremony on April 19. They will stream the whole event in HD on a website called watchthenewchevymalibuinhd.com!
