Mazda officially confirmed production of the Minagi Concept as their all-new compact crossover, the 2012 CX-5. It will join the lineup of CX-7 and CX-9 SUVs. The CX-5 will be the first production Mazda to feature the new KODO ‘soul of Motion’ design language. It will also feature a full range of Mazda’s breakthrough SKYACTIV technologies, including new-generation engines, transmissions, bodyshell design and chassis engineering. The production CX-5 will make its international debut at this year’s Frankfurt International Motor Show.
