Samsung revealed the official pictures of their Renault-based new SM7 sedan as the car goes on display at the Seoul Motor Show. And the good news, at least for the Koreans, that it looks just as good as the first sketch.
The SM7 features a unique and imposing look that is a mixture of Korean design cues and European elegance. It is big and luxurious and, if anything, just as magnificent as Hyundai’s new Grandeur. Only a few years ago Korean cars were amongst the ugliest cars in the whole history, but now look at them. Every single new model they make is astonishingly beautiful. Too bad this car will only be available in South Korea.
That said, it is still a prototype. But there is no good reason why they would change anything in the final production model. The car is expected to use the same Renault-Nissan engine line-up as before, but we will know for sure when the company releases complete specs of the car.
