Honda released a few official shots of its new CR-V to let us know it looks pretty much the same as the concept version. Good.
The grown up CR-V which is based on a new platform has the Kia Sportage in its sight both size-wise and design-wise and wants to regain its position as the king of affordable city crossovers.
To do so it’s let go of its rather conservative design and employed a bold front grille and a curvy back which looks good and provides more space. The new design is also said to be more aerodynamic efficient as well.
So it has better looks and improved efficiency. All it needs are some frugal new engines, and it’s ready to hit the market. That means the engine lineup with include a few low-power but clean diesel engines, and it’s not likely to get a more powerful engine than the current 2.5 liter unit.
