Honda announced they will be unveiling a new, updated version of the Crosstour – in concept form – at the upcoming New York Auto Show. They have not released any pictures or details on the car, so we have no idea how it looks. But it’s almost certain the new Crosstour will be substantially different than the current model, which has always been criticized for its terrible looks.
It really is one of the ugliest cat out there. The Honda Crosstour was first conceived as a BMW X6 rival, a sort of sport-activity-coupe-crossover thingy. It turned out to be a complete disappointment though, and it isn’t hard to see why. The current model is available with four and six-cylinder engines. The 2013 model is expected to get the same lineup, but the interior will probably get a refresh.
The Crosstour is produced at Honda’s East Liberty Plant in East Liberty, Ohio.
