The result of fashion designer John Varvatos partnership with Chrysler is a one-off 300S sedan styled by the designer in a unique way. This is more than just a publicity stunt, as there’s a good cause behind it all. The 300S is to be auctioned off for the 9th Annual Stuart House Benefit. Bidding in an online auction has begun on Friday, March 2. The car is powered by a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 with 292-hp and is features an 8-speed automatic transmission.
In this video John talks more about the car and the reason to build it:
“The Chrysler brand is proud to serve as a sponsor of the ninth annual Stuart House Charity event; this is truly a special organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of these children,” said Saad Chehab, President and CEO – Chrysler Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “The Chrysler team designed and built a one-of-a-kind 2012 Chrysler 300S for this event in hopes that it will not only raise funds for this cause but also generate awareness for this unique facility.”
