jay leno LFA at Lexus LFA Review by Jay Leno

In this new episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, the old man takes an in-depth look at a handsome-looking black 2010 Lexus LFA super car. This is currently Japan’s one and only super car until the new Honda NSX arrives (Nissan GTR is not a super car), and it’s a damn good one. A race-bred high-revving V10 engine with 560-hp, and mighty computer power to harness it, make the LFA a very unique, but expensive proposition.

In this video Jay Leno and Road & Track’s Patrick Hong review the car and takes it out on the road for a drive.

The V10 produces 480Nm of torque at 6,800rpm, 90 per cent of which is available from 3,700rpm all the way to the 9,000rpm red line, thanks to Dual VVT-i technology, equal length exhaust manifolds and high-volume, 12-hole fuel injectors. This gives searing in-hear acceleration at all engine speeds and in any gear: nought to 62mph takes just 3.7 seconds and maximum speed is 202mph.
