Following the Mazda2, Japanese car maker also released the Mazda6 Venture Edition in the British market. This special edition is priced from £21,000, and is available as hatchback or estate, and with diesel or petrol engines. It also features upgraded equipments list with more luxury goods. Next year the 6 will be replaced by a new model.
But that’s then. For now the Mazda6 Venture Edition comes with Sanyo TomTomnavigation, integrated Bluetooth, half-leather seat trim and heated front seats. It also gets unique styling features such as 17-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, Sports front grille, Privacy glass and a special range of colours – including Brilliant Black and optional Crystal White Pearlescent, Black Mica or Stormy Blue Mica, as well as a unique colour for this version – Dolphin Grey Mica.
All that means you get better value for your money. The Mazda6 Venture Edition equipment upgrades and additions cost only £340-to-£480 above the TS2 upon which it’s based.
Available engines include a 2.0-litre (155ps) MZR petrol capable of 40 mpg, 2.2-litre (163ps) MZR-CD diesel with 62 mpg.
Standard equipments include front, side and curtain airbags, rear vehicle monitoring system, front rain-sensing wipers, leather steering wheel with audio controls, six disc CD changer with Auxiliary jack and six speakers, front and rear parking sensors and a Thatcham Category 1 alarm.
