Well it didn’t take long for the Internet to come up with renderings of the new Jaguar F-Type after the British car maker confirmed it. The car is the production version of the C-X16 concept car, so naturally the renderings are based on the pictures of that car. But, seeing as Jaguar’s own pictures of the F-Type are heavily camo’d, chances are there are substantial differences between the two.
The C-X16 is a lavish coupe with the swagger of an Aston Martin. Jaguar decided however to turn it into a proper sports car for production, creating a spiritual successor to the original E-Type. The car is going to be a looker, no doubt about that, and it’s getting a range of engines, so there won’t be just one expensive model no one can afford. An entry-level F-Type shouldn’t cost more than 40,000 GBP.
That said, we have to wait for official details to make sure.
