The CCS-R is a race-prepped version of the Lexus IS-F built specifically for the 2012 Pikes Peak Hill Climb challenge. The car might look like a badly tuned IS from the outside – what with the big rear wing and the two-tone orange and black paint job – But it is the real deal. Every aerodynamic part on it is carefully designed for optimum performance, and it has a stripped-out interior with a carbon fiber dash and a racing cockpit.

The best part of the car however is the engine. It’s got the 416 hp and 371 lb-ft of torque V8, an eight-speed transmission and a limited-slip diff, the setup you get on the road-going IS-F. But it sounds fantastic and it goes like hell.

Other changes over the road-going model include uprated suspension with reinforced bushing and mounts, racing brake kit, racing exhaust system, and upgraded cooling system. Other features include 120L fuel cell, Air jack system, Fire extinguishing system, Data logger, Kill switch, and Tow strap.
