The new Mazda6 official debut is set for the Paris Motor Show in September. But the way they are revealing the car in this series of teasers, we will be get to see it much sooner than that. The new Mazda6 is an important car because it is the first real showcase of Mazda’s new Kodo design language. So the next Mazda3 and MX-5, both among the most significant cars in their segments, will be invariably affected by this.

This teaser shows the rear-end of the car with the chrome stripe, the taillights, and parts of the side profile. Based on what we’ve seen so far of the car, the new Mazda6 is going to be quite a looker. You can see see previous teasers here and here, and also check out a rendering of the car here.

As an expression of the characteristics incorporated into all of its new vehicles Mazda has created a new color called “Soul Red.” Thanks to an innovative new paint process developed by Mazda we are able to capture both the deepness and vividness of the color.

Deep: high in saturation and low in brightness
Vivid: very high in chroma. Producing a strong or clear impression on the senses
