While the world is waiting with baited breath for SSC’s Veyron-bashing Tuatara, the American super car maker went ahead and made a new special version of the Ultimate Aero. The XT will be limited to only five units, and will be powered by the 1,300 horsepower engine from the Tuat. After these five examples are sold, the ugly Aero will be gone forever.

SSC apparently hasn’t finalist the design of the XT, as the pictures you see here appear to be a normal Aero Photoshopped in a black and red paint job . It’s still ugly as… stuff we can’t mention here. But it’s fast, very fast.

The Aero, remember, is the car that made Bugatti to make the Veyron SuperSport, because the normal 407 km/h car was slower than this. Now SSC is going after the Veyron SS with the Tuatara, but for unknown reasons they are yet to fully unveil the car and test its top speed.
