To boast the symmetrical all-wheel-drive system in the new XV Crossover, Subaru has come up with a pretty interesting ad. In “The Battle” the XV takes on a bunch of metallic beasts in a variety of conditions and thanks to its rally-bred drivetrain and the versatile AWD system outruns all of them. Granted, it’s all CGI and there’s no degree of truth in it whatsoever. But it is still pretty cool to watch.

Subaru’s Symmetrical AWD system is honed and perfected in the world of rallying. Underneath, this crossover is basically an Impreza rally car and that gives it an edge over almost all its rivals in this segment, because they are mostly jacked-up sedans and hatchbacks.
