Lexus’ contender for this year’s Pikes Peak international hill climb event, the IS-F CCS-R, completed its task setting a respectable time of 11 minutes 35 seconds. Naturally at this point we’d get a full video of car’s run with Ken Gushi at the wheel drifting its way up the mountain in the Race to the Clouds. But instead we got a teaser video showing some bits and bobs of the run accompanied by some annoying music. So well done Lexus.

The CCS-R is a prime example of what Lexus F Sport engineered are capable of when they are allowed to roam free. They’ve fitted a normal IS-F with reinforced bushing and mounts, racing brake kit, racing exhaust system, and upgraded cooling system. Other features include 120L fuel cell, Air jack system, Fire extinguishing system, Data logger, Kill switch, and Tow strap. So the 420-hp saloon is capable of keeping up with most sports cars.
