There’s been much nagging about the Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ power output ever since the car was introduced, and to be honest we did quite a lot of it. We nagged, because we knew how much more awesome this car would be if it had more power. Check out this turbocharged BRZ here, and how it takes off the line, on its way to do an astonishing 11.3 quarter mile at 127.4 mph.

This is a creation of Accelerated Performance, and it’s got a massive turbo and performance exhausts and what not. It makes 440 hp and 460Nm of torque.

We’re not greedy. We don’t expect Toyota and Subaru to make a 400hp version. The GT86/BRZ needs mybe 50 or 60 more horses. Then it would be brilliant. Please Toyota, make it happen!
