Updated Honda CR Z 1 at Updated Honda CR Z Teased For Paris Debut

When it was first revealed, the Honda CR-Z caused quite a stir in the motoring press because of its looks, and the fact that it was a sports coupe. But when we realized the car is a hybrid and only has 120 horsepower, everybody started forgetting about it. Now it’s back in the news, as the Japanese car maker teases a new version, supposedly, for the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

A video popped up on Honda Japan’s website teasing what appears to be an upgraded CR-Z, featuring new LED headlights, and some new wheels. As mentioned, those things weren’t the CR-Z’s main problem. Which is why we’re more interested in the last thing they tease: a button with “S+” written on it. Now, that probably means the car is getting a new sports mode, and that, hopefully, means it’s getting power.

That is of course our speculation and nothing has been confirmed yet. But we shall find out soon enough.
