Honda CR Z MUGEN RZ 1 at Honda CR Z MUGEN RZ Announced

Mugen, the performance arm of Honda, announced launch of the CR-Z Mugen RZ based on the 2013 Honda CR-Z in the Japanese market. This is the car the new CR-Z should have been. It gets a supercharged 1.5 liter engine which makes 160 horsepower. The standard car has a total output of 130 hp.

The Mugen car also gets a visual treatment including new front bumper, sports grille, side skirts, a big rear wing, and a rear diffuser with dual exhaust tips. A set of 17-inch wheels with high performance tires are also included.

Other bits and pieces Mugen installs in the CR-Z to make it more fun to drive include sport suspension, brakes, and a tricked-out interior with carbon trims and two-tone seats.

Production of Mugen RZ is limited to 300 units, and it’s not clear at the moment if any of it will come to Europe.
