The Jaguar F-Type is still some time away from actually hitting the market, but already Jaguar has come up with a bunch of different editions for it. You get the standard 340-hp V6, the 380-hp V6S, the 490-hp V8S, and now apparently a Black Pack edition.
The F-Type Black Edition, as its name suggest, features more black stuff. You can count on gloss black accents in the bumpers and around the front grille, blacked-out mirrors and wheels, smoked lights, even black roll hoops. All this gives the gorgeous F-Type a meaner, sportier look.
It is not clear at the moment if the F-Type Black comes with any form of performance upgrade, or indeed if it’s available for the base V6 models or if it’s exclusive to the high-end V8. But we will soon find out because as Autocar reports the car will debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show along with the new Jaguar XFR-S super sedan.
