Peugeot announced prices and specifications of the new facelifted RCZ sport coupe for the British market. With its nice new face, the Peugeot RCZ Facelift is one of the best looking mid-range coupes in the market. And with a base price of £21,595, it is good value too.

Just imagine how much better it would be if it was rear-wheel drive. It could be France’s GT86. New headlights, new grille, new bumper and new design wheels are among the main highlights of the new RCZ. It still comes in two  ‘Sport’ and ‘GT’ trim levels for the UK.

The base Sport trim is very feature-rich actually, boasting dual-zone air conditioning, rear parking aid and USB box with Bluetooth. This rich specification is enhanced further by the addition of automatic lighting, including ‘Approach’ and ‘Follow-me-home’ features. As an option you can order half leather and leather/ Alcantara treatment.

The range-topping GT meanwhile adds 19” ‘Technical’ alloy wheels as standard, plus the interior sports kit, complete with sports steering wheel and gear level. It also comes with the addition of an optional Cohiba Brown colour, on both simple and integral leathers, and new matt black roof arches.

AS mentioned, prices start from £21,595 (an increase of £385 over the current) for the Sport, while the GT costs £23,995. Delivers of the new RCZ commence form January 2013, but if you can wait until the end of the year you will be able to buy the RCZ R with 250 horsepower and even cooler looks.
