This episode of Jay Leno’s garage is a treat for the fans of classic Japanese sports cars. It’s Jay’s Mazda Cosmo 110S with Wankel engine, a car imported to the U.S. by a special forces pilot during the war. The design of this Cosmo is pretty special and has lots of unique features in it, but the absolute highlight of it is that rotary engine.

Jay has restored this car with main focus on the engine. The original Cosmo had about 110 hp, Jay’s version has 220. If you like Wankel rotary engines you don not want to miss this video. Jay gives you some interesting info about the whole rotary concept.
