The first time Evantra super car appeared on the radar was back in 2011. Now Mazzanti Automobili releases new details and images of the car, revealing its performance numbers and technical specs. The word ‘super’ really suits this car rather well.
The Evantra is powered by a 7.0 liter V8 engine which develops 700 horsepower and 848 Nm of torque, without any supercharger or turbocharger. It’s a naturally aspirated unit, which makes that power output all the more astonishing.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed Silatronic automatic transmission, and together they take the Evantra from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and onto a top speed of 350 km/h.
To contain that furious power the Evantra comes with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes featuring 6-piston calipers at the front and 4-piston calipers at the back.
The best thing about this car, though, is its design. It is inspired by different Maserati models in more ways than one, and it looks utterly fantastic; it is so Italian and cool. It is not just about show, of course, as a 350 km/h supercar needs to have brilliant aerodynamic characteristics. To achieve that Mazzanti has collaborated with Ysim, who works with Formula 1 teams.
Mazzanti is yet to reveal the official price of the Evantra, but rumor has it the base price if around 300,000 Euro.
