Granted, in about 24 hours we will get to see the all-new Chevrolet Corvette, callsign C7, in all its glory. But early looks are always a lot of fun. So feast your eyes on the latest Corvette. This is not rendering nonsense, This is really it.

The images have been sent to some of the biggest car magazines, Automobile and Road&Track, to be prepared for their covers. Jalopnik then acquired them, and decided not to comply with the embargo rules and published them for the world to see. Good men!

As always, the ‘Vette looks pretty cool, this time around with a more aggressive front fascia – compared to the C6 – which sort of looks similar to the SRT Viper. OR is it just us. It is also less curvatious than the old model and has a more angular design. The rear-end design looks especially interesting, what with its quad exhaust setup.

The engine powering the Corvette C7 is a brand-new 6.2 liter V8 engine with 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. Check back tomorrow for official details and pictures.
