We first told you about W Motors, the first Arabian super maker from Lebanon, back in 2012. Then a few weeks ago they released the first details and pictures of their new hyper car, the HyperSport Lykan, and now the first prototype has been unveiled at the 2013 Qatar Motor Show.

So it is safe to say these guys are fairly serious about their business. They also seem to have proper facilities, as seen in the video footage below teasing the first Arab super car.

As for the specs of Hypersport Lykan, well, let’s begin with the price, which is $3.4 million USD. That is ridiculous. But if it’s any consolation, they throw in a Cyrus Klepcys watch worth $200K, so it’s actually 3.2 mil.

The engine is a  twin-turbo flat-six with Porsche origins, provided, apparently, by RUF. It makes 750 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque (more than 1000 Nm), which translates into a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.7 seconds, and a top speed of approximately 390 km/h (245 mph). Doesn’t sound like good value when you can go over 400 km/h in a Bugatti for half the money.

What sets the Lykan apart, and causes that insane price tag, is the extra garnish. The car features diamond-coated lights, gold-stitched seats, and platinum trims. It does come, after all, from the Middle East.

To be honest it is a stupid car. We think Pagani Huayra and Bugatti Veyron are safe.
