The first pictures of the production version of 2014 Toyota Corolla have hit the web, showing a new aggressive design that is loosely based on the Furia Concept of 2013 Detroit Motor Show. It is not just as good-looking as the concept car, but still, for something with a Corolla badge it is not bad at all.
While the front-end has little in common with the Furia, the rear-end shows the connection more clearly. The shape of the quarter panels, the bumper and the taillights are nicked straight from the show car, which is good. Nobody will call this Corolla is a boring car for retired geography teachers anymore!
No details are available yet on the new Corolla’s technical specifications, but it will certainly get a range of fuel-efficient four-cylinder engines, very good quality, and the latest in-car connectivity systems.
