Looks like having 900 horsepower is the new trend in the world of super cars. After the McLren P1 and LaFerrari, Icona announced they are readying a 900+ horsepower exotica named Vulcano. Partially revealed in this teaser image, the car is set for debut at the next Shanghai Motor Show.

Designed by Samuel Chuffart, a former Jaguar Land Rover designer, the Vulcano is powered by a mid-front mounted V12 engine. They haven’t mentioned the powertrain supplier yet, but it’s probably Italian. With 900hp sent to the rear wheels, the new Icona will have a top speed of around 350 km/h. Its specs seem similar to those of that Ferrari F12.

Based on what we can see in the teaser image, the Vulcano is going to be a looker. It is expected to be revealed in full mid-April.
