Starting from July 2013 Chevrolet will launch two new compact SUVs in the British market. One of them is a redesigned Captiva, and the other, the new Trax crossover. They just revealed the official pricing of the Trax, and it is pretty tempting.
This car is the same as Buick Encore or Opel/Vauxhall/Holden Mokka. Chevy’s version come with their own distinctive front grille and headlights, but Chevy’s own trim levels, but pretty much everything else is shared between the three.
You can have the Trax with FWD or AWD, and choose from an extensive lineup of good engine, including a 140 hp (103 kW) 1.4L turbocharged petrol unit available with a 6 speed manual transmission, a 115 hp (85kW) 1.6L petrol engine with a 5 speed manual transmission as well as a 1.7L diesel engine which produces 130 hp (96 kW) and is available with either a 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic (with manual mode).
Prices start at £15,495 and LT starting at £17,495. If you go for the LT, you get the Chevrolet MyLink system that offers full Siri integration.
