Following footsteps of GM’s CEO who recently auctioned off his classic Corvette for charity, Chrysler Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne is going to sell his customized 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 at the upcoming Barret Jackson auction, in support of United Way for Southeastern Michigan (UWSEM).

Mopar’s latest HEMI V-8 crate engine will also be auctioned at the event, benefiting UWSEM’s annual giving campaign in which Sergio Marchionne serves as Campaign Chair.

That 540 horsepower and 530 ft.-lbs. Of torque 426 HEMI engine is nice, but the CEO’s car is something truly special. The Pitch Black Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 comes with many exclusive features such as “Dark Charcoal” racing stripes, Mopar sport suspension, Mopar exhaust system, and 20-inch matte black wheels.

The interior too is trimmed in black, and features SRT-exclusive Electronic Vehicle Information Center that records your performance data. The engine in this car is a 392 6.4 liter V8 developing 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. The best thing you can do is to get both the car and the 540hp engine, then put the engine in the Challenger. That’d make the car even more unique.
