Ferrari has reportedly signed a new deal with tech giant Apple to provide their cars with their high-end connectivity and entertainment features. The first car to benefit from this partnership is the four-door FF which came to Geneva Motor Show sporting a couple of iPad Minis.
Ferrari has fitted two iPad Minis to the back of the FF’s headrests, so the rear passengers can use the net on the move, watch videos, or play games. The iPads are wrapped in leather cases similar to the vehicle’s upholstery. They also come with headsets.
The driver benefits from Apple technologies too, as the vehicle features full Siri integration for its infotainment system. The hands free voice recognition system syncs your phone and enables all the features available in the car.
Last year Eddy Cue, a top Apple executive specializing in software systems, joined Ferrari board.
