Renault announced the official pricing of the its new Clio Renaultsport 200 Turbo in the British market. This cute hot hatch with its 200hp engine is priced from £18,995 for the EDC and £19,995 for the Lux model. Both models are chock-full of electronic systems that make the car faster and better to drive.

You get three driving modes to alter settings for the engine, accelerator pedal, steering and ESC mapping: Normal, Sport and entirely manual Race. You get Launch Control, fully disconnectable ESC and ASR traction control, and you get race-tuned shock absorbers ad steering system.

That is not all. If you go for the optional Cup chassis, you 3mm lowered ride height, 15% stiffer chassis and quicker steering rack, red brake callipers, gloss black 18” Renaultsport wheels shod with Dunlop Sport Maxx TT tyres; all for just 450 quid.

The Clio RS 200 is not just about raw performance though. You also get plenty of convenience features as standard, including air conditioning, integrated MediaNav seven-inch touchscreen including Bluetooth, USB connectivity and 4x20W Arkamys audio with Bass Reflex speaker system, electric door mirrors, keyless start and entry, Renaultsport front seats.

Lux trim adds: 4x35W Arkamys 3D Sound audio system plus two tweeters, auto lights and wipers, climate control, electrically adjustable and folding door mirrors, integrated R-Link multimedia system with seven-inch touchscreen (Carminat TomTom Live navigation with 3 months subscription and App Store), extra tinted rear windows and tailgate, electric rear windows.
