So what Pagani has been teasing us about for the past couple of weeks was not a Roadster version of the Huayra like we thought after seeing the first teaser, but rather an exclusive Sonus Faber sound system, as hinted in the second teaser. And as you’d expect from high-end brands like Pagani and Sonus Faber, this system is unbelievably kick-ass!

What sets this system apart is the amazing design. Given the fact that every Huayra has a bespoke interior in terms of material and color combination, Sonus must be ready to cater for that by providing various colours and designed. But all systems share the same carbon fiber structure, complete with neodymium magnets for maximum weight saving.

As for the power output and sound quality, the Sonus Faber Digital Sound Processor, amplifiers, and loudspeakers deliver a rich 1,200 Watt experience. The sound processor can of course tailor the output based on the customer’s musical taste.

The addition of this system to the Huayra is a clever move by Pagani, because unlike the Zonda, the new super car has a turbocharged engine with an awful lot of turbo whistle. While that is fun and amusing at first, it can become weary after a while. So if customers come to Horacio complaining about that, he will present them with this system, which presumably costs a couple hundred thousand dollars, and make more money!
