Renault’s funky looking new crossover, the Captur, will soon hit the showroom across the UK starting from £12,495. The Captur comes with three engines and four trim levels including Expression, Expression+, Dynamique MediaNav and Dynamique S MediaNav.

The engine lineup includes all-new 1.2 TCe 120 EDC. Plus, 0.9 TCe 90 and 1.5 dCi 90, all of them fitted with Stop&Start as standard. Later in the year the dCi 90 EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) will e added to the range.

As for the features, the standard kit on the Renault Capture includes 16” alloy wheels, 60/40 split and sliding rear seat bench, body coloured bumpers, cruise control, ECO mode (up to 10% fuel saving), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), ETC (Electronic Traction Control), front and rear electric windows, HSA (Hill Start Assist), speed limiter, and trip computer.

Meanwhile the top of the line model gets 17” Explore alloy wheels (choice of coloured inserts), contrasting roof and door mirror colour, Exterior Gloss and Interior Touch Packs, City Pack (electric folding door mirrors and rear parking sensors), heated front seats, extra tinted rear windows.

The car also has a very rich option list: Renault R-Link (including TomTom sat nav, 4x35W Arkamys 3D Sound) £450, reversing camera (Dynamique MediaNav and above), City Pack (£395), heated front seats (£250), metallic paint £495 (including i.d. Arizona and Tahoe Blue £595), painted roof £300, Interior Touch (£350) and Exterior Gloss Packs (£350).
