As you may remember, a couple of days ago we had a report that Maserati may be working on a new MC 12 hyper car based on Ferrari LaFerrari. That hint was the go ahead auto artists needed to come up with renderings of what the LaMaserati may look like. This is one of the finest ones we’ve come across so far.

Designer Anton Gjorsev has mixed properties of the LaFerrari, the MC 12, and modern Maser design cues such as the grille and headlights. Well, the headlights are lifted straight from the new Quattroporte, but they do work.

The word is if Ferrari green lights the car, it will be powered by the same powertrain as the LaFerrari, minus the hybrid system. That’s fine, of course, as the Fezza’s V12 engine is alone responsible for 800 horsepower of the total 960.  That also means that LaMaserati will be slightly cheaper than LaFerrari. Good!
