So this is it, the all-new Mazda3 sedan. these pictures have leaked to the web ahead of the car’s official debut, showing rather significant changes over the hatchback variant. Apart form the obvious change at the rear-end, the sedan also has a different grille and revised bumper.
It does in fact look remarkably similar to the new Mazda6. They are both results of the new Kodo design philosophy employed by the Japanese car maker. It is very nice, but we’re starting to think maybe they should differentiate the models a bit further. Mazda appears to have fallen in the same trap that Audi designers fell into a few years ago, and as a result all their cars ended up looking the same.
The Mazda3 Sedan will should be identical to the hatchback in terms of powertrains, and features and equipments. Official details should be released soon, so let’s not waste anytime speculating!
