Honda America announced a limited edition factory-standard Performance Package for the Accord Coupe V6 models. The HFP package is inspired by the 2012 SEMA concept, and includes enhanced vehicle dynamics and distinctive styling cues.

This being Honda, they wanted to make sure the Performance Pack does actually make a difference in the way the car performs. So since last year’s SEMA show they’ve been testing and refining details of this package. They have even conducted back-to-back track testing of the Accord Coupe V6 in stock and HFP forms.

So the package’s 19-inch HFP alloy wheels; a decklid spoiler; HFP sport suspension (lowers height by 15mm and enhances handling); HFP front, side and rear underbody spoilers are all functional. They do alter the dynamics of the Accord Coupe to make it faster and sportier.

Meanwhile the red interior illumination; HFP floor mats and HFP badges for each side and the trunk will make sure that onlookers realize this is no ordinary Accord. The HFP package is limited to 500 examples; comes with a three-year warranty;and is priced at $4,620.
