2013 Pebble Beach: Laraki Motors Epitome

Out of the blue, Laraki Motors unveiled a brand-new hyper car at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours. The Laraki Motors Epitome is a monstrous looking car with bold specs: 1,750 horsepower; only 1,270 kg; limited to 9 units; and priced at $2 million USD!

How much of that is actually true we don’t know yet, but given the fact that they’ve used the 7.0 liter Chevrolet V8 engine in this car and then boosted it with two turbochargers, it probably does make that kind of power. Mind you, 1,750 hp is achieved when the car is running on 110-octane fuel. On pump gas it makes around 1,200. Still impressive.

Laraki Motors Epitome has a full carbon fiber body, and an interior that appears to be fully covered in lovely beige leather. There is no details available on what kind of chassis and drivetrain the Epitome use, and no information about its performance either.

All we know for sure is that the car looks pretty awesome. It needs to prove the rest what its makers are claiming.
