Renault released the first images of the 2014 Megane range, which is redesigned to adapt the firm’s new corporate look. It is only the front-end styling that is changed, but it has a profound effect on the way the Megane looks. Not sure if it’s prettier, actually, but these days it is important for car makers to have a distinctive look across their range.
2014 Renault Megane Facelift brings a new front grille and new elliptical headlights, complete with a new front bumper. And it affects the entire family, including the Megane Hatchback, Sport Tourer and Coupé – even the range-topping GT model.
Actually, the Renaultsport and GT Line both get an even more dynamic stance and a new front-end design, as well as new headlights with gloss black backgrounds. But overall, they are compliant to Renault’s unity policy, and are instantly recognizable as a member of the Megane family.
No word on any technical upgrades yet. But official details should be released soon, as the car is set for debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. 2014 Renault Megane Facelift will go on sale in the first quarter of next year.
