Ever since the face of the new 2015 Ford Mustang has been revealed in a spy shot, we’ve been getting various renderings and CAD designs trying to give us an early look at what the finished product may look like. Here’s some new renderings, revealing the car’s front and rear-end design based on the designer’s perception.

Of course, we all now know what the front of the new Mustang looks like. But to get the proportions right and make the image as accurate and close to the real thing as possible, the guys at Mustang6G used CAD images of the actual car to render these.

Besides the not-so-interesting new headlights, the louvered tail lights are said to be another distinguishing feature of the 205 Mustang’s design. The fastback roof line also has a more retro look to it, reminiscent of the early models.

To be honest we are more worried about what Ford is going to do with the Mustang’s engines – especially those coming to Europe. There is a four-cylinder EcoBoost option for that, which, even if it’s brilliant in every way, will sully the car’s pure bloodline. A Mustang with an engine that has not a V formation does not make sense at all.
