Offering their domestic customers a little extra something, Renault announced the launch of the new Lounge Limited Edition version of the Scenic and Grand Scenic in the French market. These models come with extra features and equipment over the range-topping Scenic and will be on sale until the end of January 2014.

So let’s get right to it and see what kind of extras you get if you shell out the extra dough for this limited edition Renault Scenic Lounge. On the styling front there are a number of distinguishing features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, side protective mouldings with chrome strips, and satin-finish chrome grille trim which give the car a nice and classy look. But this car is all about the options.

The Renault Scenic Lounge is generously equipped with in-dash Renault R-Link multimedia tablet, video system complete with screens built into the back of the front head rests, front and rear parking assist, reversing camera, and the Family Pack which includes sun blinds, aviation-style folding tables for rear passengers, under-seat drawers, front and rear reading lights, child surveillance mirror, forward-tipping front seat for carrying long items, etc.

The choice of engines for this car includes the Energy TCe 130 petrol and the Energy dCi 110, the dCi 110 EDC and the Energy dCi 130 diesel. The only optional extras include a €570 metallic paint and €120 spare wheel. Prices start from €27,000.
