The idea of Jaguar making a pickup truck is very funny indeed, but maybe they should consider it. I mean just looking at this rendering of an imaginary Jaguar C-X17 Pickup Truck, based on the new SUV concept. Looks good, doesn’t it?
What the designers at XTomi Design did to create this pickup is take the C-X17, which is currently in Dubai showing off its awesome liquid aluminum paint work, remove the rear doors, c-pillars and windows and the tailgate, and replace them with a truck bed. This styling suits the car in a very kinky and unhealthy way.
Jaguar C-X17 SUV will be the brand’s first crack at a utility vehicle. The car boasts a fabulous design, and since the underpinnings come from Jaguar’s sister company Land Rover – who is the world’s best off-road maker – it appears to be a winning recipe.
This pickup version almost certainly will never see the light of day. But you never know. Someday Jag engineers may get bored and just make one as a show car or something.
