Honda’s in-house tuner Mugen revealed their first styling kit for the new Vezel crossover, launched in Japan a few days ago. The reason this car matters to us is because it is coming to Europe in 2015 boasting a clever hybrid powertrain. And it looks rather good with these Mugen bits on.
Honda Vezel by Mugen features completely revised bumpers with a chunky skirt up front that is complemented by a cool new grille and silver accenting, side skirts with more silver accenting, a big rear spoiler and a diffuser unit with twin tailpipes. The body kit has a strong Japanese flavor about it. It’s like sushi. You either like it or hate it. There are also new 17 and 18-inch wheels available, but we don’t really dig the designs.
Mugen also offers a number of accessories designed to make the Vezel cooler and more functional. They offer special floor mats, wind breakers for side windows, and carbon fiber trimming for the interior mirror and gear lever.
As for the more technical bits, Honda Vezel by Mugen can be ordered with enhanced brake pads, and two sports exhaust systems that give the hybrid crossover a nicer roar.
